Copenhagen Card: Prices at a Glance
Here the Copenhagen Card is available for 24 or 48 hours, for adults and children. Both options include the same package - only the duration differs. Validity starts only when you first use the card in the app.
| Duration | Adults (16+) | Children (3-11) |
|---|---|---|
| 24 hours | 82.73 € | 14.05 € |
| 48 hours | 120.66 € | 19.67 € |
Children aged 3 to 11 need their own kids card (maximum two per adult card); infants aged 0 to 2 go free. The issuer also sells the card for 72, 96 and 120 hours and a junior card for ages 12 to 15; these options cannot be booked here.
What Is Included
Regardless of the duration you choose, the card covers:
- Free entry once to over 80 attractions, from Tivoli to Rosenborg Castle and the National Museum. See the Attractions page for more.
- Free public transport on the Metro, bus and S-tog across Greater Copenhagen, including the airport connection. See the Public Transport page for more.
- Digital redemption: After purchase you receive an order code by email, which you redeem in the Copenhagen Card City Guide app. There is no physical card.
Age Groups
Here you can buy cards for adults (16 and over) and children (3 to 11). A maximum of two kids cards can be added per adult card; infants aged 0 to 2 do not need a card. The issuer's junior card for ages 12 to 15 is not available here.
Which Duration Pays Off?
Even a few visits cover the card price. Tivoli, Rosenborg Castle and the National Museum together already account for a significant share of the day-pass value when bought separately, and the included public transport with airport transfer comes on top. For a compact stay, the 24-hour card (82.73 €) is the right choice. If you are staying longer and planning a day trip to nearby destinations like Roskilde or Helsingør, the 48-hour card (120.66 €) works out cheaper per day: about 60 € per 24 hours, as the card price is spread across more visits. Which attractions are particularly worthwhile is shown on the Attractions page.
