From 13 November to 3 January, Tivoli becomes a Christmas market with thousands of lights, stalls and rides.
Opening hours and seasons
From 13 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 Tivoli Gardens celebrates Christmas. Thousands of lights, glowing Christmas trees and the scent of pine fill the park, and the stalls sell gifts and festive treats. Christmas in Tivoli is on CNN's list of the world's best Christmas markets.
All rides are open during the Christmas season. For younger children there are two special Christmas rides, the Elf Train and the Forest Carousel. Children can visit Santa in his house and meet the forest animals. If you want to ride, book the Christmas ticket with the unlimited ride pass.
Tivoli is closed on 24 December. The park is open on the other days of the season, and on 31 December it ends the year with fireworks at 23:00. The exact daily hours are on the opening hours page.
